/Engineering standard
We design for the traffic you will have, and prove it before launch.
Every system starts with a load profile and latency budget. Capacity is modelled on paper, verified with load tests, and watched in production with the same numbers.
3×peak
Load-test target before any production release: three times the expected peak traffic.
99.95%
Uptime SLA available for systems we operate, backed by 24/7 on-call and runbooks.
p99budget
Latency budgets are set per endpoint at the architecture stage and tracked on dashboards.
10days
Typical time to start: a dedicated engineer or a team kickoff after the brief is agreed.
/Services
From a single critical service to a full platform, built end to end.
We take ownership of the whole lifecycle: architecture, development, QA, infrastructure and support. Pick one service or combine them into a turnkey project.
Backend
High-load backends & distributed systems
APIs and services built to scale horizontally under millions of requests, with predictable latency and graceful degradation.
Capacity model and SLOs per service
Sharding, caching, queues, back-pressure

Core specialisation
Internal platforms that run the company.
HR, CRM and document systems built around how your company actually works, instead of bending your processes to an off-the-shelf tool. One platform, your data, your rules, connected to everything you already use.

Reporting & data processingETL · BIData sync from your systems, deduplication, analytics stores and management reports.
Access control
SSO, role-based and field-level permissions, separate views per department.
Auditability
Every change logged with who, when and what. Full history per record and document.
Data protection
GDPR-ready data handling, encryption at rest, hosting in your cloud or the EU.
Integrations
ERP, accounting, mail, Slack or Teams, Google Workspace via APIs and webhooks.
/Technology
Six languages, each chosen for the job it does best.
We do not force one stack onto every problem. Concurrency-heavy cores, lean services, interfaces and mobile clients each get the tool that fits.
Erlang/OTP for systems that must not stop.
The runtime behind telecom switches and messaging at global scale. Millions of lightweight processes, supervision trees that restart failures in microseconds, and hot code upgrades without downtime.
Compiled binaries, low memory footprint and first-class concurrency. Our default for gateways, high-throughput APIs, stream consumers and infrastructure tooling.

Node.js for event-driven APIs and integrations.
Non-blocking I/O and one language across front and back end. Ideal for BFF layers, WebSocket hubs, integration services and fast product iteration with TypeScript.

/Why Highload Solutions
How we work with clients.
Clear ownership, measurable quality and no lock-in. These terms are part of every contract.
You own the code
Full IP transfer, your repositories, your cloud accounts. Documentation and handover are included, not extra.
Senior by default
Architects and senior engineers lead every project. You talk to the people who write the code.
Numbers, not opinions
SLOs, load-test reports and delivery metrics are shared with you from the first sprint.
Security built in
NDA before the first call, least-privilege access, secure SDLC, and architecture that keeps your compliance scope small.
Working hours overlap
Our teams work on European time with daily overlap for US East Coast clients. English is our working language.
Transparent estimates
Every estimate is broken down by feature and role. Changes in scope are priced before they are built.
/FAQ
Questions clients ask before signing.
Something else on your mind? Send it with the form below and an engineer will answer.
How quickly can you start?+
Discovery can start within a week of the first call. Dedicated engineers usually join your team in about 10 working days; a full dedicated team takes 2–4 weeks to assemble.
Do we own the source code and IP?+
Yes. All code, designs and documentation are transferred to you under the contract. We work in your repositories and cloud accounts whenever possible, so there is nothing to hand over at the end.
Fixed price or time and materials?+
Both. Fixed price works when the scope is clear, usually after discovery. Time and materials, or a monthly team fee, suits evolving products. Many clients start with a fixed-price discovery and then move to a dedicated team.
Can you take over an existing system?+
Yes. We start with a technical audit: code, architecture, infrastructure and load behaviour. You get a written report with risks and a prioritised plan, then we stabilise the system before adding features.
How do you handle security and confidentiality?+
We sign an NDA before any detailed discussion. Access to your systems is least-privilege and logged, secrets stay in your vault, and we follow secure SDLC practices including dependency scanning and code review.
Which time zones and languages do you work in?+
Our engineers work on Central and Eastern European time, with daily overlap for UK, EU and US East Coast teams. All communication and documentation are in English.
Do you support the system after launch?+
Yes. We offer SLA-backed support with 24/7 on-call for production incidents, plus a monthly retainer for improvements, monitoring and performance tuning.
